That’s the best we’ve played in quite some time.

But we must be more ruthless in front of goal if we are to stand a chance of retaining the title.

I’d be interested to know how we compare to Liverpool in terms of chance conversion %.

Why do we never shoot outside the box?

Well the idea is to shoot inside the box hoping it will go inside the goal . Shooting outside the box goes toward our goal .

Good confidence boosting victory but lots of work to be done before Liverpool as of we defend at times like we did today Liverpool will put us to the sword

Its the switch from all out possession and attack to suddenly having to defend we struggle with and Liverpool will test that with the ball in behind and the immense pace they have.

As always though if we take our chances we will win the game, of that im confident.

Most important thing is a win and three points that leaves us with a chance of getting back in the race by beating Liverpool.

Thing is today illustrated why we will fall short on Thursday. When Southampton scored Liverpool would have been 2 up, the Aguero chance straight to at the keeper would have been stuck away by Salah.

Southampton were a truly awful side who will go down and we made much harder work of things than we should.

Danilo was excellent today. Very intelligent movement and really put a shift in.
I for one prefer him to Walker at the moment.
Hope he starts on Thursday.

The twat got both legs round Ferns and could easily have done a lot of damage.
Apart from that decision the ref was fucking wank.
