Southampton (A) Post Match Thread

Good today, but not great. Usually enough to win and so it proved.
I will sell my soul to beat the dippers on Thursday.

I'm in a much happier mood now that we've won again, must admit I've been taking wins for granted these last 2-3 years, so losing two games in a row made me realize you can't take anything for granted, so just enjoy each win as it comes.

What worries me slightly . is the fact that the team very much relies on the energy and vibe our manager brings and today despite a reasonably good performance it looked like the preaaure was getting to him sometimes slumping back in his seat certainly not his usual self i never saw his post match interview can anyone enlighten me i am not putting a downer on today i thought wq played some lovely football and for the most part fully committed My only gripe was the amount of chances that we miss making the result harder to achieve than it should have been finally i know its been said but our fans were fabulous today

Good win. Aguero coming back to peak. One negative is how poor we are at attacking corners. Would have thought coaching staff could find clever ways to find a blue shirt from corners. Southampton nearly scored fro their first. We never looked dangerous. Even Bournemouth looked dangerous today from set pieces which shows you can plan ways to create chances

Yeah our corners are really poor for some reason, if it was up to me id pass it to someone like Fern on the edge of the box tell him to take a shot, if he doesn't score it might come of the keeper or one of there defenders into the path of one of our players to take a shot
