According to the Southampton website our game with them could be rearranged if we get through to the semis of the Champs League. Looks like I should have considered this before I booked accommodation on a non cancellation basis.

What a muppet!

Any ideas whether it would be moved for a day or so or rearranged until for much later?

I wouldn't be worrying about that just yet!

Nice to know that this is the case. 2 days before a CL semi (subject to City turning the season on it's head) is not on.
Just a shame there is no mention of it on the City fixtures page - or indeed when the tickets went on sale at the box office.
Ah well.

They did mention it at the time the TV changes were announced:

"Finally, The Blues will make the journey to the south coast to face Southampton on 1 May, which be shown on Sky Sports at the later kick off time of 4pm.
The Club’s potential participation in the UEFA Champions League on the Tuesday’s following all four matches, mean these fixtures are subject to change."

But it would have been helpful also to include in the fixtures list/ticket sales page as well of course.

Good news that at least they did tell us.
But as we both agree this is the sort of information that should be kept on the fixture/ticket purchase pages.

Tickets aren't on sale for this game yet

I did similar for Arsenal in 2006/07. A fogged out LC game v liverpool meant and FA cup draw and an Arsenal away win at Anfield meant the game would be moved. I bet on the it at 11/1 and it happened, therefore more than mitigating losses for the risk of an extra £20.

City are 6/4 to reach the Semis so not worth it.

I take it this is the reason the tickets are not on sale yet due to our involvement in champs league

Depends on if we get to the semis and if the game is wed ok if we play Tuesday it will move back to Saturday
Stoke is also subject to change. That will move to sat 5-30, almost booked my Southampton train the other day !!
