What's Pep said then?
Hes probably sick to death of the inane questioning , sly digs (did you take a bribe) , down playing our fantastic achievements , money jibes , the team and him getting very little credit for the way we play and how he has completely changed english football for the betterHe’s really antsy tonight. Is it because it was one of those performances that has cost us the champions league in the past? It can’t just be the penalty. Or has something else happened? He seemed grumpy before the game. I remember him bein like this a year or two ago and it turned out his family got pressure from the police about a Catalonia issue.
It could be that, like me, he has his match day superstition when it comes to what he wears!! :-)
Well, by that standard Dias could have been sent off for resting a hand on Salah's shoulder last month.Again, it’s hypothetical anyway as it didn’t happen but the law clearly states that it would not be a red card. Here is the law:
“Where a player commits an offence against an opponent within their own penalty area which denies an opponent an obvious goal-scoring opportunity and the referee awards a penalty kick, the offending player is cautioned if the offence was an attempt to play the ball; in all other circumstances (e.g. holding, pulling, pushing, no possibility to play the ball etc.) the offending player must be sent off.”
My eyesight must have gone completelyive seen a good close up and watched it about 50 times and there is a very fine touch on the ball from the keeper, he still follows through to foul Foden, but there was a touch of the ball
