It doesn’t bear thinking about mate. Beyond comprehension. I don’t mind saying, I shed a few tears yesterday, it really affected me.

but that suggests repeat offending and i would say little rehabilitation would of been going on
this case is of the extreme and 52 years is a bare minimum as i think this individual is beyond normal help now
but from what has been revealed was let down badly by the relevant bodies at the initial stages when he was 13
big big questions need to be asked of them in the inquiry and fast to try and prevent another tragedy

The starting point for a murder with a knife brought to the scene by the offender is 25 years tariff, (which can go up or down for aggravating or mitigating circumstances.)

100% mate. I went to pick my 7 year old daughter up from her dance class yesterday evening and couldn't stop thinking about what it must have been like for those children and the staff/parents. There will be plenty inside who feel the same and he'll get a nice slow and painful torturing. But it won't be enough.
 
I cannot even begin to understand how the parents must be feeling but is it me who finds the News showing the childrens pictures every day when discussing the case being a tad insensitive to the parents.

Do they really have to see their beloved childs face on the TV, can't the broadcasters not simply use their names rather than show their faces.

Agree it's bad. We can only assume that they aren't watching much news hopefully.

I would much rather see their faces all over the news then the horrible mug shot of the **** who murdered them.
