It looks like the door is fucked to me. Not there's too much toxicity around the craft.

I think they're probably just trying to clear crevices etc from the fuel which might otherwise ignite - it's presumably got a double skin.

It wouldn't be a surprise if the door had buckled a bit.

I love the space stuff and tuned into the discovery science live broadcast, it wasn't Apollo!! The whole broadcast had virtually nothing from NASA, and it was so flat on excitement. No ground control trying to call the capsule after re-entry no building the tension, and as for cameras ! It's the 21st century 4k, 8k, 12k even and it looked no better than 1969 .
What a load of boring shite and waste of money,by the way the only thing that actually happened in 1969 was City winning the cup.

thanks for your incisive input on the SpaceX splashdown !!lol !

This is the part we see tentacles grab one of the crew and drag them on the capsule..

I'm not crazy about the idea of space tourists.
Just another way for billionaires to pollute the shit out of our planet.

It's funny when you watch SCI-FI films and they 'zoom' from one solar system to another in no time....and this journey a few miles above earth will take 27 hours.
That's not to downplay these incredible achievements btw.

The POV simulation of light leaving the sun and travelling through the solar system puts it into perspective. It takes 8 minutes and 12second to reach Earth. Then it flashes through us, and past the moon, in less than a second.
