He and Real Madrid were stupid to announce his appointment before the world cup. Keep it under wraps, then announce after the tournament, surely?
Also very silly of the Spanish FA to sack a good manager two days before kick off. An admonishment behind closed doors would have been better for the team.

Anyone mentioned the possibility of Spain asking Pep to coach for a few weeks the WC is on? I don't think it's a bad idea. I mean, that's the only way Spain can salvage anything from this clusterfuck
