He saw the win as a vindication of the stance taken before the tournament and was emboldened by it to such an extent that he felt he could behave in the way he did in the box and then lifting each player one by one at the presentation. He clearly has a thing for Hermoso and whether he is or isn't a sexual predator he certainly behaved like one. Those claiming he should stay on (including some on here) needs to take a long hard look at themselves.

If he apologised right after it and say it was spur of the moment the excitement and it was well out of order and apologised to her! It would of eventually died down..
Yeah it still wouldn't have been ok but I think it would have gone away. The harassment the player and her family have faced from her employers since the incident, combined with the lies they've told about her have made it so much worse

FIFA won’t do anything. They’ll leave it to the Spanish FA. They’re hardly bastions of morality.Yes aside from the fact that he's vice president of UEFA and FIFA have opened up disciplinary proceedings against him, it's nothing to do with either organisation.
