People really piss me off when they can't speak properly.

Over the last couple of days i've had people say to me (these seem quite common tbh)

Can you borrow me a quid?

* No but i can lend you a quid you fucking moron.

I've not done nothing.

*Double negative, if you haven't done nothing you must have done something. It's; i've not done anything or i have done nothing.

It is just me or do you get these as well?

Rant over, back to work i go...

Pisses me off when anyone in the football industry says "we got beat." No, dick-head; you were beaten. It's like nails on a blackboard.

the one that has really started bothering me recently is:

"you going gym?"

that really annoys me, particularly as it is used by about 4 people in my office, all southerners from relatively "posh" backgrounds who speak with received pronounciation the rest of the time. Really bothers me.

However in Stockport a few years ago I did hear a man say to his mum:

"I'm gone go kfc"

So its not solely restricted to posh dickheads.
