I know it'a over still I cling, I don't know where
I watched that documentary on C4 last night about the lengths some people go to
improve their pet's lives i.e. Stannah stairlift and wheelchairs for dogs, a parrot on Prozac.

There were some incontinent cats and dogs wearing nappies too.
Much as I love dogs, if mine couldn't help but shit everywhere, he'd have to "go and live on a farm."

I had a lizard with no legs once, it had a strange fork tongue as well and used to hiss a lot.

It felt so wrong.....but did anybody else piss themselves when the dog was upside down in the bush and she had to turn it round. And then they cut to the grandmother in a wheelchair and the dog in one next to her. I laughed so hard and felt so guilty for it.

For me, they were the funniest bits of the programme, that dog lying on its back, legs in the air, killed me.

There used to be a bloke in Heywood who owned his own garage. He had two German Shepherds that he kept as guard dogs. One of them couldn't walk or crawl. He refused to have it put down, the poor dog used to lie in it's own filth until he arrived every morning to clean it up. It lasted for years like that. He said he didn't have the heart to have it put down.

I know a cat thats on prozac, the vet out him on it after his brother was run over!
