One of his early bands featured Bill Wyman and Christine Perfect (Mcvie).
The Spencer Davis group featured a teenage Stevie Winwood as the lead singer.
There is a firm of solicitors in the dales called Spencer Davis and, until recently, they had a slogan painted on the front of their shop...................
