Are spiders generally getting bigger in this country? I've seen probably the 3 or 4 of the biggest ones I've seen in the last couple of weeks. Not massive by say Australia standards but bigger than average for here.

i have also seen 3 of 4 of the biggest ever in the past few weeks. One of them was that big that it let onto me as it walked past with an "y'alright mate?"

As i type this a huge mofo is on my ceiling, and yes in general they seem to be getting bigger, to me anyway.

plenty more insects to eat, same as last year, I suppose having one proper winter helps the sods.
