Spiegel: Leaked European Super League information

Nothing really new here is there ? This has been mooted for over 20 years but nothing ever comes of it.

The only saving grace for this, would be if it destroyed UEFA & therefore FIFA, & ended up being a new football administration, with the leagues joining in.

But whatever, I doubt I'll be bothering anymore if it happens.

The one good thing about no relegation, would be that teams can play young players in the latter part of the season, like they used to when it wasn't so important.
 
I wonder how much of this European Super League talk is a reaction to the FIFA-backed World Club competition. I'm convinced we're providing much of the finance for that latter one and that some of the Europea clubs are panicking over it.
 
According to Bayern they are taking legal action against this. Seems reading around fans won't support this. Seems to reflect the views on here.
