Media will cream themselves if Amorim gets the win here.
Will be interesting how the Sporting fans react to Amorim ?
Also, would imagine the Sporting players are not too happy that their Supah-Dupah Coach is leaving them so early in the season ?
Think if City keep cool heads, Sporting might implode.
A 2-1 win for City...

They’re all rag fans probably ;-) the media will spout some shite saying they should be honoured that a prestigious club like man utd have come in for their manager…

They played Friday night after the announcement of him leaving was made. They won 5-1 at home with their flavour of the month striker scoring 4 of them. Amorim was apparantly given a warm reception on the night by their fans. They will be behind him again on Tuesday after he said in his post-match presser that he wanted to stay till the end of the season before joining the rags but had been given an ultimatum of now or never.

Fair enough.
Looks like he has tried to pass on the blame of his leaving, onto the Sporting board, then...

Honestly I'm not fussed about this result. Use this game for experience for some youngsters as the Brighton game is much more important. We're going through to the KO stages anyway this isn't a big deal.

Who he rests tho god only knows :( Ake & Akanji the only 2 fit CBs lol

Be interesting to see the lineup.

One thing's for sure I'll be muting the commentary as all they'll waffle on about all night is the rags.

This new format just doesn't seem right.

For example, we've been in the CL for 15 consecutive seasons,2 finals winning one, semi finals, quarter finals and the highest coefficients.

Villa have never qualified for the CL & finished 4th last season but some how have got a much easier group than City who have Inter, Juve,PSG & Sporting, three of which are away.

It doesn't seem to be based on merit, coefficients or random picks.

Surely some form of seeding at this stage would be more sensible ?

Next two games feel very important. The loss yesterday has created enough noise as it is so dropping points going into an international break, with Pep’s future up in the air could make the 2 weeks very long.

Chance to put Sunday right, even if we are injury ravaged. I think the players will be raring to go

When is Amorim due to leave them? I havent followed it much and just presumed he had left to take over the rags already

Can’t fault the away games?

Had a great trip to Bratislava :0)

Loving it in Lisbon currently :0)

Off to Paris in January :0)

Beats the Goldstone Ground in the 70’s and 80’s, in the rain, no roof, on a shit pitch and getting beat every time!!!

Then I could have reason to moan :0(

City struggles in a European game
never !! :0)

Hopefully, the City cream will rise to the
Top again :0)

Pep will play the strongest side available, just seen the training gallery and Kdb involved. Will be interesting to see what team Pep starts with can see Doku and possibly Savinho starting. If Kev doesn't start I would like to see Nunes given a chance centrally.

Me too,

Seems incredibly suspicious this.

How can he accept another job but continue to manage his current team?

If Rags were in the CL would this have been allowed?

The cases against us, including a nothing arrangement with Mancini are far less suspicious and relevant compared to this arrangement
