Its not real control if you don't defend well, and attack even worse.

Don't give haaland the ball in behind. Slow build up. Errors for goals over and over again. Win a couple of games, lose a crunch match. Rinse and repeat this season.

Those fucking rag cunts are now breathing down our neck. Forget about the league, we'll do well to finish second

Be good to see us get Dias and Laporte back in the first 11.

Not sure Lewis is ready for being played in every single game. Especially the big games. Ake should stay at left back.

Hopefully we refresh the team in the summer. The whole midfield looks shagged and out of ideas.

Just finish strong this season. 2nd in the league and a good run in FA and CL cups.

Genuine question, why were Laporte and Dias on the bench, who are much better than Akanji or Ake.

Any player that just gives up because they want out is a fucking **** & i dont care who they are or who they play for.
 
I'd be interested to see all the posts slagging off Dias and Laporte's performances when we've lost to this Spurs team in the past. They're top players on their day, but no matter who plays at the back, we always struggle against Kane and Son. They wouldn't have stopped the goal we conceded either. Laporte would help in the build up, though.

if we may meet them in CL in March/April, well, we will be out of CL again vs and English side same as we lost to Spurs before in CL with Pep, or to Pool or the final vs Chelsea mainly due to defensive blunders/errors.

Rodri, Bernardo, Alvarez all awful, heavy touches all game, how they were not subbed I dont know.

Pep needs to smile more, and look at the tactics magnet board a lot more, as he said he doesnt recognize his team, I bet the players dont recognize these tactics.
Haaland for one surely doesnt understand what is happening, why he is getting no service at all and being isolated as fuck. his agent looking at this, and probably on the call with Florentino Perez.

The one consistent thing this season is no one looking to get haaland in behind. When it happens it's an anomaly.

We just seem to have lost our way so much, we dont have a game plan, we dont seem to know out best 11, we dont know our hest defence, we have a beast up front who we dont pass to.
Its just awful.

We have to accept that either pep has hit a wall with these players so it needs a squad overhaul or pep needs to give his head a total wobble and find a way out this mess hes created. Or go

Pathetic performance after conceding. We started well but a moronic mistake which was the source of their first goal at the Etihad happened again.....like the players forgot they'd press us in the position.

The team can't cover if Rodri has a off game like that. His worst performance for some time and the entire team suffered.

It degies logic that we can. Have Haaland and not create a single chance for him. There was at least 3 times early he made the run and the ball never came. Twice was Bernardo running at the defence and than turning away going backwards. He can't start atm, he's not near it and Kev and Gundo over more going forward and at least have the threat of playing the ball through, no one else does.

Can't see us winning the title, it's a fight to many for a ageing midfield and players who have done it before. The midfield needs a refresh in the summer, seems the club knows it but today's performance is part of the current theme not a outlier.
 
Pains me saying this, but pep has lost the squad, it's so simple to see that the players are not believing in him any more, Pep said if he ever lost the team then he will walk, no need to sack him he will know when the wheels have fallen off,

players are not happy, superstars sitting on the bench because they have spoken out about the changes pep has made this season, When you see Haaland walking off after another loss, you could see he is not happy and something stinks

Pep is the greatest manager in football and 7 wonderful years at Manchester city are over, he can do no more
the players are simply puzzled in what he wants or thinks is the best way to play,

the moment a seen Rico Lewis slot in at left back, it was over ? you let Cancelo leave and ask an 18 years to play left back crazy,

feel for the fans that went today in hope of something special in the title race, but its over and the title is going somewhere else this season
