Spurs (A) Post match Thread

From a work day in Munich following the score, can I just say what a pleasure it is to be joint top again...
 
What a frustrating game, Mendy as bad a performance as I’ve seen for quite a while. Also liked the long balls to our towering forward line in the second half. Not the best game to bring kev on but least he got the minutes in. The pitch was a leveller and spurs size was a problem.
 
Massive three points. The pitch evened it out for Spurs and Walker and Mendy were a liability. I think it is time to start looking for a centre forward as only Silva and our wingers were a threat. Ragged as hell in the second half but really it should have been 3-0 by then. Still no.idea what Silva was doing with that chance.
 
Full Backs were poor tonight. The performance was very un- City. Be interesting to see what we say about the pitch. Great 3 points but damn stressful

Laporte absolutely unassailable, the best CB in the league this year. Ditto Stones looking amazing. Everyone else struggled a bit with the pitch, but it was always going to be against us and our passing game and favor their physicality. We still came out the better.

Top of the league and still the best!
