And that it our season captured in one sentence. 6 losses and 3 draws. For at least 5 of those losses we have just pissed the points away, just like today. It is so frustrating. We have probably thrown away 20 points already this season. We are 22 points behind. What could have been and should have been is plain to see. A horrible season and a clear indication that we need to make some changes in the summer. Well, if you believe Pep, we aspire to be European Champions. I ( and many others on here) have been saying all year there is no chance we win it with that defence. Overheard a few on the way to the station and on the train. They seemed to accept the stats suggesting we had almost all the play and were chuffed they had beaten a team a fair bit better than themselves. It was almost as though they'd achieved a giant-killing rather than deserving to win.I wonder how the Spurs fans feel about the game. They probably think they did really well...
It's not OK to outplay two teams in the space of four days and fail to score against either. Winning is a mentality, and we seem to have lost it.It’s ok to lose a football match you know!
