Apologies if already posted. A heads-up for travelling blues
Just had a look on National Rail for the Spurs away game, Sunday, Agust 28.
Major engineering works that day, there are no direct trains to London that will get you there. Most have at least one or two changes at Crewe/Rugby.
The earliest trains leave Piccadilly about 8.20am and don't get you into Euston until about noon. So no chance of a pre-match beer.
There are also disruptions on the way back.
All cheap advance tickets have gone for the early trains also.

Major route improvements between Northampton and Berkhamstead.
Routes:
• London - Birmingham - Wolverhampton
• London - Manchester
• London - Stafford - Liverpool
• North Wales - London & The West Midlands
• London - The North West - Glasgow
Date: Sunday 28 August
What is happening?
Until 1300 hrs approximately, most services to / from London Euston will start / terminate at Milton Keynes Central, there will be a limited through service.
From 1300 hrs onwards approximately, there will be a reduced service to / from London Euston.
The London Euston to Chester services are withdrawn, while services on the North Wales route will operate between Crewe and Holyhead only
