Ah well, there's always Stalybridge Celtic.

Which is exactly what Spurs, City and the other "big" clubs want. They don't want OAPs like us on a big discount, who spend very little, if anything on the catering and absolutely zero in the club shop before and after the game. We are a liability for them. A nuisance. Get rid of us and they can charge £250+ for the ticket to a tourist, who enters and leaves the ground, via the club shop. It might not come next season at City, but without a doubt, it's when not if.If City implement the FOC one I'm out.
Which means unless the matches are shown on TNT/BT or Terrestrial TV I won't be seeing them very often. I subscribe to City+ but they don't show the away games do they?
Or Droylsden. "The Bloods"!Ah well, there's always Stalybridge Celtic.

Another reason why an Independent Football Regulator with real power is needed to stop this kind of vandalism.
The Butchers Arms has great memories for me. Never missed a game there as a kid. Used to sneak in without paying through the row of terraced houses along the side.going there Saturday.........
That’s the official reason. But it’s also down to greed and the total disconnect between the supporters and the clubs. If you are going as an OAP, then in all probability you have been going for decades, if not your whole life. To remove the concession and effectively increase the price you have to pay is nothing short of disgraceful. The savings made won’t even be a rounding error on the clubs overall finances. They do t deserve the loyalty and the support that they get from the long standing fans. This is a by product of FFP and clubs trying to get every penny they can.
