Spurs (H) | PL | Post Match Thread

This team has now lost the lead 6 times in 3 games against big6 opposition in Chelsea, Liverpool & Spurs. We used to have an elite mentality, this season its missing completely. Another shambolic performance like almost every other time we've faced any half decent opposition this season.

And yes, the ref was absolutely awful but lets not turn into the scousers and act like victims at every opportunity. We should be able to beat fucking Spurs, with major injury/suspension problems, at home even if the ref is awful.

Pep will figure it out, he always does. But unfortunately our very poor summer window has undoubtedly made our squad significantly worse.
Eddie might be good with his feet, but shit with hand's…..

Doubt we'll get any player in the January window. Time to get them was in the summer but for some reason the club was sleeping and reacting to everything.

Doku is good but inconsistent, Kovacic is average and was always injury prone so bizarre buy, Nunes shown nothing so far and is a really weird signing.

We miss Gundo and Mahrez.
Mahrez...need a fkin hindsight statue....biggest miss ever i think...what a player

We won't win the league this year. Part due to our lack of intensity and concentration, and part due to the pl not allowing it.
I would like to say the fix is in, but we are shooting our own feet and helping the pl do their job for them.
I've never been one that subscribed to conspiracy theories, but good lord, that clip of Hooper is so fucking sketchy.

imo, jack had already scored confidence is high so if he’s one on one at the end he puts it in the net.

He was already checking back onto his right foot. It was a scandalous decision but it probably saved our collective sanity

Doku and alvarez hit the woodwork, it didn't go in. They hit the woodwork twice, both went in. Any other day, Ederson saves their first. Any other day, Haaland scores his two.

Our defence is complacent. Our midfield isn't particularly in control. Pep is a bit meh. The refereeing continues to cost us.

But ultimately, we have had some basic bad luck and with just a touch more we win at least 2 of the last 3.
At last, a pragmatic POV.

Too many on her seem to think we should be steam rolling though teams week-in-week-out. Spurs did their homework and stuck to the plan, and managed a draw.

It's not the end of the world.

Simply not good enough and although the ref was way out of his depth he wasnt to blame

Ridiculous to say but haaland had to be better. Hes very good at finding the space but hes not actually a good footballer. Kane or aguero would score more.

Akanji just not up to standard , alvarez not an 8, dias form dropped off a cliff, gvardiol fish out of water at left back.

I think whats bit us on the bum is our recruitment this summer. Just one of those summers.
Doku is ok and will get better, gvardiol has to improve a lot but nunez and kovatic are a puzzle.
He actually played a couple of nice touches today around the box and leading to 2 goals but he fluffed his lines as a striker .

We're gonna have to do something, absolutely powder puff at the moment
