Shouldn't be. Tottenham are a mess with a bunch of players that don't fit together and a terrible mindset. They need some stability even if it means going back a few steps.

He doesn't have the players for the system he wants to play, it's as simple as that. He needs to adapt to suit the players at his disposal or beg Levy for some money in January. I doubt the latter will get him anywhere. Levy won't back him in the transfer market, he'll probably sack him in the summer and Spurs will be back to square 1.
If only Steffi wasn't banned, he could make us a nice graph to show us how they're actually doing better than everyone thinks and this is their best year ever.

That's the problem with constantly sacking managers and bringing in lots of different players. They need to decide a system, decide who fits that system, get rid of the ones that don't and buy more that do.

This year should be all about rebuilding, but Levy is an awful chairman so you are right he probably will sack him and the mess will continue.

I like Poch, and Poch's Spurs is more entertaining than avb's or sherwood. I hope he doesn't get sacked! Probably wouldn't, as long as spurs doesn't meltdown.

Poch needs to make the team walk through the fire like he did in southampton.. That'll probably wake them up.

Harry Kane is okay but he's not really clinical in front of goal.

Can't we bring back the graphman please, this thread isn't so fun without him :(

@ SpursOfficial
We can confirm that Emmanuel Adebayor has been given permission to return home for personal reasons. This is a private matter and so we will not be providing any further comment.

Perhaps we'll know in a few weeks' time. Hope his family are ok.

He needs at least 2 season's there. Spurs' mentality can't be changed overnight.

Adebayor and Kaboul have been ostracised by teammates and coaching team. The tipping point was a dressing room bust up between Adebayor and Kane. Kaboul took the side of Adebayor, the rest backed up Kane. Ever since that incident a few weeks ago, Kaboul has not played due to 'personal reasons', while Adebayor has not played due to 'injury and illness' and is now going home for 'personal reasons'. Sounds like he is on his way out.

Adebayor causing problems? I find that hard to believe. Next you'll tell me he's not been trying very hard since he got a contract...

The sad thing is, he's genuinely one of the best strikers in the world on the very rare occasions when he's motivated.

In his first 4 games for us he was immense. Our best attacker and at times even our best defender, clearing off the line on more than one occasion. He was unplayable in the 4-2 win against Arsenal and I remember one astonishing run in that game where he took on half their team and laid it on a plate for SWP who missed the chance. As far as one-off matches with only 3 points at stake go, outside of memorable derby wins that remains one of my favourite games ever.
