It's a step down from psg and it's a step back to a club a lot worse off then the side he was sacked from. Its embarrassing for both sides. For Poch it's like being dumped by somebody who was punching way above their weight with you anyway, you go on to better things, they spiral into a much worse position, they ask to get back together and you say yes. Why?
And for spurs, they thought they could do better, they tried and failed spectacularly, they're now worse off and just want things back to what they were 2 years ago but it's not that easy to do and it involves them admitting they were wrong and wasted a lot of time and an even greater amount of money.
Could Poch keep Kane? You could see potential for him to resell the dream to Kane, he got them the closest they've ever been but at the end of the day even at their best they were nearly men and it's going to take time for them to get to anywhere near what they were under him, time which Kane hasn't got. I still think he wants out regardless of the manager, not sure he gets what he wants though.
