Spurs Thread - 2021/22

spurs are the manchester city of old ? meaningless winners of a game for 3 points then losing another 5 or 6 after

They play like they did yesterday then they will easily seal 4th place but you know our beloved Spursy will turn up again with in the next two weeks

There is no point in spurs taking these points, having won/retained their annual 'beating city trophy' they will revert to type and be fucking shit. Kane worst of all after putting in one 45 min shift this year - bullet dodged there.
They have now also won the "We Did The Double Over City" Cup

If Liverpool play their usual high line then spurs should take advantage. But spurs going to anfield they usually have their pants down ready before a ball has been kicked

Had a very similar thought looking at their reaction to their win. Not that long ago it would have been us getting a bit giddy over a decent result against the dominant side but also knowing that it was unlikely to be the start of a concerted challenge and it was just best to enjoy the moment because we would invariably fuck it up again sooner rather than later.

Fast forward and now half our fanbase goes into meltdown when we actually loose a game, how times have changed!
