Spurs Thread - 2023/24

Since Spurs last won the league 82 nations have been born or achieved independence.
Spurs last won the league four months BEFORE I was born!

I have as much memory of Totteringham winning the league as our grandson has of the rags winning it, though he was actually born by then.

Wasn't they the first team to do the league and fa cup double? You get a lot of milk out of that!

An unbiased opinion>
Like city they've always had loyal fans big gates great players and in the top ten average attendance's since football began!

Now with there new stadium big attendances big turnover a very good manager now, they should be winning something in the next 3/5 years..
No.

That was Preston North End. 1888/89.

A whinging shithouse up front and a whinging shithouse at centre half. Add the whinging goalie and various snides having a go throughout the team, and virtually no ambition - how any Spursy fans can come on here and criticise our performance is a bit rich. But then again, they've always been a bit rich haven't they. Just not as rich as us.

They were an embarrassment last night. 1 shot - at home!
