We had quite a few cruel fuckers for teachers. They would use all sorts of stuff. Thomlinson the headmaster used a cane, we had a tiled black line outside his office where kids would be sent to stand and wait for their punishment. You only had to look into his eyes to tell the **** loved causing pain. Curle the science teacher would use a steel ruler which during lessons he would walk around the class polishing the ruler as a threat which he’d use frequently during lessons. He also used to use a Bunsen burner tube and plyier’s. The gym teacher used sawn of cricket bat on the boys and a slipper on the girls. And others like Grainier who would prefer getting you up in class and try to embarrass you. I hated that **** the most and let him know prompting a vistit to the queue on the black line to await Thomlinson wrath.Had the fcukin cane also which left its scars. Joe Lowe a giant of a man used to teach English used the knuckles of his finger rather than his fist to any child’s forehead if they walked other than single brest or as much as 2 inches out of line passed his school room.
You could see all these and a few more loved to dole out punishment you could see the delight in there faces as they handed it out. All kids got the treatment whether they deserved it or not whether they were timid and fragile or not these fuckers had no empathy and gave no quarter. Our school wasn’t on its own, some of the kids were cunts and deserved putting in their place,
These days are different and the pendulum has swung and kids now have little if anybody to put them in check.
Looking back 60 years when I was 11 years old. Not all our teachers were cunts even the gym teacher with the sawn of cricket bat I thought was fair in deciding who got the bat.
