Player's squad numbers were first introduced to the Premier League in season 1993-94.

Here is a table featuring every Manchester City player's squad number for all the seasons City have participated in the Premier League....

...I'm sure there might me the odd mistake, so please tell me if you spot any.

Perhaps you would like to nominate your favourite City player for every shirt number?

Enjoy your trip down memory lane!

Correct me if im wrong but it seems that our players from 96-2000 have been erased from history.

Is this just a list of premier league squad numbers?

Yes.

The table only shows the seasons Manchester City were participants in the Premier League.

I plan to get around to doing the Second Division / Championship clubs when I have a spare moment or two.

Bloody hell! There's some sh*te on that list. Just goes to to show how far we've come in the last 2-3 years.

On a more serious note, who the hell is Abdoun? (Number 10 in 2006).

Djamel Abdoun (born February 14, 1986 in Montreuil, Seine-Saint-Denis, France) is an French-born Algerian footballer. He currently plays as a midfielder for Kavala F.C. in the Super League Greece.

Ha ha ha - that just highlights the City we all know and love. We give the number 10 shirt to a young kid on loan who never actually played for the first team. I can't imagine the club shop did a roaring trade in replica's that year.

Can't see David Seaman (Squad No 1, 2003–2004, 19 apps) amongst the keepers...

I've just finished updating the Manchester City player's squad numbers during the Premier League Era since their introduction in season 1993-94 to the recent 2011-12 summer transfer window.

Bear in mind that the seasons when City didn't participate in the Premier League aren't included in the table.

Hopefully, it should be accurate but if you do discover any boo-boos, please point them out and I'll update the table.

What about George Weah?

I think there are quite a few players missing.

He had the number 22 shirt for the first part of the 2000-01 season but had left the club by October - the shirt went to Richard Dunne.

Cheers. I still think some of your better stuff can be found on here though.
