Squad rotation for the run in.

This place will explode if Pep plays a weakened side against Spurs and we lose .
Losing to Chelsea in a semi final is bad enough but losing to Spurs, in a final again ,will make this place go nuclear

Never mind about a weakened team against Spurs, what about the Villa game?

Play with a similar 11 against Villa as we did against Leeds and yesterday and we'll lose, Villa have had an 11 day break, and will be up for getting one over us.

Best 11 available now for the next 6 games (KDB is likely to miss Villa by the look of him yesterday).
No resting anyone, if they look tired drop off the training rather than game time. Win the next six and it's the league and cup done and a champs league final to look forward to.

The scum will likely beat Burnley today pulling the gap to 8 points, can't afford to give them a thought they could catch us.

We've lost form and a bad time. I know part of it is due to rotation. But some of it is just individuals dropping in form.

Cancelo
Gundogan
Sterling
Dias
Rodri

The above 5 have all gone from scintillating to average to just good. And when you add that to the form of Sterling, Jesus, Ferran, and Aguero all of whom have been average to poor for a majority of the season, you can see why we've stumbled of late.

The last 3-4 weeks have looked a lot like the first month of the season. The team really needs another talk and a rededication.

At present we only have 3 players playing above average,: Phil Foden, John Stones and Riyad Mahrez. And even they are getting forced to do too much. We need more movement and quicker movement of the ball and players.

Hopefully, we can have a 2nd surge

Hang on, are you saying "good" is worse than "average"?

Certainly don’t want to get to 5 points with Chelsea still to play! That one will be tough going off yesterday. A draw wouldn’t be the end of the world but I’d rather we get these PL wins done and dusted at Villa and Palace. Takes us to 80 points and it’s almost there then.

In the past month we slowly reverted to 'the old City' where each game we have a slip in our concentration, we started shipping goals on the regular basis, often chasing result which never suits our game-plan, and somehow it all coincided with Pep starting to make these massive rotations and in particular breaking Stones-Dias partnership. Just my opinion.

All fans say this but few managers take any notice, "Get the game won then start rotating with substitutions.". Easier said than done though.

What is the point of squad rotation next Sunday ? You either put the strongest 11 out there to compete to win or you might as well have binned the comp of as soon as you could. There is a final of a competition with silverware to be won next Sunday just bloody compete for it !
