a couple of seasons ago i used to be utterly consumed by the summer transfer window - literally i couldnt pay my rent due to hours waiting for updates or signings.

My attention has subsided since kaka-gate which actually left me devastated - the image of him waving the milan jersey brings an ache in the bowls of my stomach.

Now i just go with the flow.

we already have an amazing team which could do with a couple of additions.

when or if that happens i'll be delighted to see it confirmed on the OS.

I would be happy with both but would love to also get Santi Carzola (which I wanted last year). We would have a CL winning squad.

Although I'm not saying Schweinsteiger is a realistic option, he's not as attached to Bayern as some people think.

A couple of years ago he said this:

"You never know what will happen after a World Cup or how the club is planning for the future," Schweinsteiger told Bild newspaper.

"I am very happy over the fact that we have had such a good season, but to say now ‘Bayern Munich forever’ – no, that would be false.

"Because if things perhaps would change at some point, such a statement would not be fair to the fans."

He added: "It was often the case in the first half of the season that I would mis-place a pass in the first 20 minutes and I would be whistled at immediately.

"There were even whistles for me at the annual general meeting and that hurt."

Of course, he signed a new deal a few months after saying the above, but you couldn't really imagine Messi speaking about Barcelona like that for example.

Wouldn't surprise me if he didn't finish his playing career at Bayern. But I'd agree there's no chance of him moving anywhere this summer.
