Was a decent game, City didn't have the best of second halves though! Went into the break 2-0 up.

Stalybridge are full time now and have good fitness and they also brought on some big strong midfielders and forwards for the second half who did the damage.

Marwood and Sellars amongst others in the directors box, Lombardo and a host of helpers running things from the bench, in fact an incredible number of support staff.

Tudor Thomas and Bernard Halford also in attendance and Bernard gave a talk and Q&A after the game. Nothing exclusive from BH but that is him all over - you do not get to stay Secretary of a football club for many years if you spill the beans all the time. He did say he expects signings in the next fortnight when there will be more movement everywhere.

A dozen or so young city fans behind one goal singing all the way through did a good job with a full repertoire of songs and let off a blue smoke bomb but spoiled it with an unecessary rendition of we'll buy your club and burn it down, which having seen what City have done at Hyde is probably the last thing on their minds.

We did our best to get a decent atmosphere going, and the "we'll buy your club and burn it down" was just banter. Their keeper said we we're the best and loyalist fans he's came across

As i said you did a good job including the Poznan but that song came across as arrogant and raggish and not banter. As did the arse running on the pitch at the end thinking he was taking on the world.
