Stalybridge train station buffet bar

Went in there Friday and It's always been a good place to have a pint and bite to eat. I'm not a real ale fan myself, but they seem to have a decent selection. Food is good, tried the home made pork and black pudding scotch eggs served with a whiskey marmalade. £2.50 for 2, and tasted amazing. If anyone on here has been in, they will probably agree it's a great place. I recommend anyone to check it out.

Blokes in their 40's plus supping a beer and then a ''watchman'' would dash in, give the call, and they all ran out to collect the train numbers!

Every time I've been there its not been open. Mind you I have only been on Stalybridge station when the trains have stopped running.

Yes PF. Did that a couple of years ago. Not sure we finished trail though, think we may of missed one drinking hole out.

its a great day out,im not really into real ale ,or I wasn't until my first ale trail, good days out.
