Only catching up on this thread. Villa have won 1 league title 1 FA Cup and the European Cup in the last 95 years. Their trophy haul consists of a bag full in the 1890's - to consider this an indication of size is ridiculous.
I think that's not correct they've won more than that.

true but misleading - they are one of the oldest and most successful football clubs in England, having won the First Division Championship seven times and the FA Cup seven times; overall, they have won 21 major honours.[2] In 1982 the club became one of only five English clubs to win the European Cup.[3]

But then he started saying that Bolton were a bigger club than Leicester based on their points in the PL since inception.
He asks questions about a minute long and then cuts off the caller after about 10 seconds when they try to respond.
This big club small argument is irrelevant in the real world as proven by the success of Wanderers in the 1800's. They were a dominant force in the early days of the FA Cup, winning it five times. This equals our own haul and is great than the vast majority of the football league's 92 clubs and using Collybore's own reckoning, this would make Wanderers a 'big club' even though they went into decline and went around 120 years without playing before reforming in 2009.

Misleading ???? Villa have won the league once, the FA Cup once and a European Cup once during the last 90 years. They have averaged an attendance over 40,000 once in the last 75 years and that was 40,039 !!!!

One of the oldest clubs yes....one of the most successful when the game was starting out yes. Lets see how their attendances pan out next year.
