Stan Collymore

A bit like with Touré, it's disappointing when very legitimate and serious issues within society are used as petty excuses by complete wankstains.

Yes, you're probably right, he flirts with concepts without fully understanding them.

Collymore has a point, but as a spokesman for that point he is the worst possible candidate, when he says....

“Black people are deemed good athletes but not good leaders,” says Collymore. “They’re not trusted to lead by the status quo, which is made up of white men, and this is particularly the case if they speak they mind, like myself and Sol. The thing white men hate most, that they’re scared of most, is outspoken black men."

He might be right, but if that's the case what is it with Chris Houghton? Is he some kind of Uncle Tom? Collymore clearly thinks so....

“The acceptable face of BAME managers is Chris Hughton. I have no doubt Chris has strong views on race and expresses them behind the scenes, but he knows that to progress in life he can’t do so in public; he has to shut up and get on with it. That’s not a criticism of Chris – it’s how most people from ethnic backgrounds behave.”

Besides there's a wider debate in society about the lack of social mobility, glass ceilings for women, pay disparity, social inequality, nepotism and patronage. The old boys network is alive and well in all fields of life. maybe it's just a case that black ex footballers have joined a very long queue.

It's OK to speak your mind, if you fucking have one Stan and don't get me started on Sol Campbell.

There are plenty of "Black leaders", as he puts it, in Africa. Relatively speaking we are long overdue a PM from a local council estate shit hole before we are due someone from a ethnic background that has barely established itself on these isle's.

Millions of white people will never become leaders or football managers

It's a bit lame Collywobble using the race card

well said that man..

Collymore at it again

‘I have to mention his [Kylian Mbappe’s] teammate Benjamin Mendy here as well, because what that geezer is on, only he will know.

‘He played about six minutes for Manchester City’s Premier League-winning team and France’s World Cup-winning team, yet he was the first sliding across the turf with the trophy in his hand so he can get his picture up on Instagram’ – Stan Collymore, Daily Mirror.

1) Mendy did only play 361 minutes (not six) in City’s Premier League title victory. Because he sustained a serious injury early in the season.

2) Perhaps he was happy because his country won the World Cup and he was in the squad?

3) Mendy is one of the most popular players in the Manchester City and France squads. Maybe it’s because he isn’t a curmudgeonly grump?

4) You didn’t ‘have to’ mention it. You chose to. Nobody else did.

When you’re feeling down, spare a thought for Stanley. Going to sleep every night and waking every morning with just one troubling thought ... how can I have a dig at anything City related.

Must be driving him crazy !

Ah, Stan Collymoron, the self appointed moral guardian of football, an ex-footballer remembered more for beating his girlfriend and wanking furiously outside car windows in dark parking lots rather than anything he did on the pitch.

Well the editor be happy slagging another city player of Collymore go to article its is his niche seems he can’t write an article without mentioning a city player and slagging them off. This guy is so bitter it must eat at him day and night

Haha you only have to bring up those two sorry incidents and he suddenly loses that tiny bit of credibility he still had.
