Is Gary Neville right when he says that this season we've gone beyond the tipping point and that too often the standard of defending in the PL is just not good enough ? Loads of goals attracts fans for sure but has it become just too easy to score these days ?

It is atrocious. We're still one of the best defences of the bunch and even our defending has loads of flaws that, as we have already seen, gets exploited at the highest level.

He is correct. Most defending is piss poor these days. Look at our defending yesterday (granted, with an extra body back at set pieces missing); it was comically bad at times. And the league leaders are letting in goals like crazy.

Who really cares...? More goals = more entertainment as far as I'm concerned.

Exactly this. Who wants world class defending?? Not very exciting to watch is it. Much rather have 7-3, 4-3, 3-3 than 0-0 or 1-0.

I think the standard of defending in this league at times is atrocious. Then when teams try and defend well - with ten men in the box - the standard of football in that game is atrocious as its just attack v defence and not good to watch.
