Since all of football seems to think that we have ruined the game, should City seriously consider standing areas again, and putting proposals to the various bodies for trials.

It works well in the Bunderliga, with the flip down seats etc for European games, so why not here.

Then we can really say we are football, not the ones who ruin it.

I miss the terrace and would welcome its return. The sanatisation of the game means it is unlikely.

He as been like a one an crusade though.

They allow 59000 people to stand at soft metal Bonjovi or Foo Fighters but not less people for a match.

It will never ever be allowed, any politician who support sit gets bombarded by the Hillsborough lobby.

good idea but even if we managed to achieve standing areas h&s laws would only allow simular amount of fans in the designated block hence would it improve the atmosphere?

Elf and safety, mate.

We have no chance of ever standing at a football match in the top flight.

Sorry, but the fun police have to have their way!
