Star Wars: Rogue One

In terms of cinematography just wow. Looks beautiful. Vadar looking ready to fuck shit up. Honestly looks so much better than I ever expected and
Jyn's father being the architect...

Florida going mad for Star Wars at present... my lad went to Hollywood Studios the other day and the parade now in the park is Star Wars themed as are the park fireworks... Fantasmic has survived so far though which is the traditional play on the sorcerers apprentice and pretty spectacular..

Did Epcot yesterday, they had the UK down to a tee with a paralytic guy hugging a drain pipe and puking while security try to pluck up courage to deal with him... can't have been the local beer but they had a lot of specials on around the lagoon for the food and drink event... and a craft beer pavilion

I was looking forward to the last film but it felt a bit disappointing in the end. Was interesting to see what would happen after the end of it though. Can't understand why they've jumped to another timepoint in Star Wars to start another series of films off.
Money mate there are 3 spin offs planned so far TBH this looks better than the others put together

Money, sure, but it seems to me that Edwards has won his battle and Disney have actually backed him on his vision. It's a huge gambit for Disney if you look at the 'wholesome family movie' they banked on, originally.

It's possible he's toned it down, but not by much(mainly to do with the visual darkness, he loves)!

I think if this succeeds, I suspect Disney are going to be braver with other films in the franchise.

Rumour is a Vader went badass on a load of people and Disney have told them to cut it down so not to frighten the kids, I hope they do an extended edition.

Cool, if that is true ^. That was what was missing from the prequel trilogy - at least one film where he tore everything to shit. Instead, just a 3 film build up to hear him go, "noooooo-ooooo".

Fuck me, that still makes me mad.

I haven't seen anything different in tone between 1st to 3rd trailers so yeah it looks like Disney have run with the vision. It looks a more grown up Star Wars film and they are probably looking to open that market up even more while keeping the kids happy. It won't do the kids any harm to see the villain slice a few arms off, or force strangle a few Generals, thats what made him so sinister when I was a kid!

And don't forget Anakin scissored Count Dooku's head off anyway so how bad could it be? Lightsaber up the arsehole??

I hope Edwards has won his battle. Initially the previews for Rogue One looked pretty dark and aimed at the adult audience. Until Friday the trailers looks like typical Disney films, the latest trailer looks pretty epic.

I don't agree with the Han Solo film going ahead, for me Harrison Ford is Solo, no other actor can portray him, I'm not having it.
