Star Wars: Rogue One

Just the same type of story repeated again, and no wookiees so it is bobbins.

Honestly any Star Wars fan will lose their shit at the end with how good it is.

Makes Force Awakens look like the phantom menace.

I feel like I finally got what was missing from the saga.

As others have probably echoed, not the best Star Wars film overall but from Scarif onwards it is amazing.

Seeing the AT-ATs deployed on ground troops, watching every hero die for a change, watching with terror as you hear Darth Vader's breathing from a dark corridor before watching him unleash the true power of the dark side on rebel scum. I think Vader only had two scenes but they both conveyed exactly how terrifying he is as he laid the smack down in both.

Will probably watch it again in cinema as I was so tired last night. Watched the last showing like an idiot.

Have to whole heartedly agree with this.

I felt there has never really been enough of what you've said in your spoiler there and I always felt that was missing, until now.

So much more than Force Awakens, it absolutely shits all over everything else that's come since the early 80's.

Dare I say it... You take the big twist out of Empire and this is the best film.

The film slowly builds up pace and gets quicker and quicker and then climaxes in the most satisfying way possible, whilst leading perfectly into ANH.

Just a shame this director won't be on the next movie.

Vader how he should be, absolutely terrifying and as others have said, that scene is what was missing. Watching the rebels scramble and run in sheer panic whilst he's mashing them all up was fucking awesome
 
Just seen it. I absolutely loved it. Loved the way it slowly builds up and then the last 40 minutes are fucking sensational. Full credit to Gareth Edwards for making a star wars film fans have been asking for for years and also to Disney for allowing him to to it. Although if the rumours are true he wanted to make it darker. I doubt very much Lucas would of made it like that. At the moment 2nd only to empire for me

Just out of the cinema and that was epic, as said the final 3rd was up there with the battle on hoff and definately the best star wars film alongside Empire.

Bout time we saw Vadar being all killy too. and maybe ot was me but I thought the battle on the beach had a nod to apocolypse now
