Hi all, a swans fan here. 2 weeks today and we'll be in the first 20 mins of the game. Try not to be too harsh on us and ease us in to the league? please!! All swans fan are buzzing for the game and we are really not eexpecting anything at the Etihad!! Just hope we give a good account of ourselves.

Well if you'd like to make some money on a flutter, here's exactly what's going to happen. We're going to hammer the absolute shit out of you for the first half, your keeper will make some blinding saves, we'll nearly knock the woodwork over, you'll wonder why you bothered turning up at all. Second half will resume in much the same way. We'll keep peppering the goal with players throwing themselves in front of any advancement desperately clinging onto the clean sheet. The movement will be magical. It will only be a case of when and by how many, not if.

Set piece 5 minutes from time and you'll score. Game will finish 1-0 to Swansea.

With Silva on the right, we need a full back there that can cross for Dzeko. Plus Zabba is more defensive minded, which balances out Yaya in Barry's usual spot.

I take it you haven't seen our set pieces either?! We are shocking at them!! (penalties excluded). I would take that result though!!

Now for some reason I feel the need to explain why I'd put Tevez on the bench.....
1. Because even though he has been class act on the pitch and 100% professional, off the pitch he has been disrespectful not only to the club, manager or the fans but also our City.
2. Tevez is gone regardless of what happens he will not change his mind to stay so we need to accept that, so what I reckon we'll need to do is give as much playing time for the team I have picked so we can evaluate how well we do as this will be our first XI when Tevez is gone so it's best to see the team now in the early stages then before it's too late.

This squad look good, but instead of Aguero I would play A.J. on the left. The reason I would left Aguero on the bench is because he haven't played a single game for us. Let him play 20 mins in second half just as Dzeko played since he arrived, and give him full game at the Cup. He needs to settle like every other player. We can't allow ourselves to underestimate Swansea.

Interesting that the consensus is that Micah and Clichy will be the starting FB's and that may well happen in game 1 but I think we will see Zab and AK getting a fair few starts even if the other 2 are fit.
We will very rarely see the same team twice, IMO, with special packages for CL games, physical PL opponents, more skilful PL teams etc.

Nearly all of around 20 outfield players will 25+ games (incl sub appearances) injury permitting.

Why is everyone backing Balotelli?? bollox to him he isn't interested in playing for the club sod him back italy!!! Johnson would start in his place everyday day of the week for me!!!

Been impressed with Dzeko pre season! looked really good against Inter!
