No malice intended, mate. Just someone thought that you were Royal Navy. It was a poor attempt at humour.
Apologies, bud.
No problem, for a minute I thought you were calling me a Walt, which I've never been.

Correct, it’s why I still pay my (voluntary) NICs whilst abroad, £3.60 a week and ensures I’ll get my full pensions. An absolute bargain. You are wrong.
The new state pension requires 35 full years to get the full amount and 10 full years to get anything.
You are quoting the old rules.

I only get part pension for the 17 years I worked in the UK.
It doesn't go up with inflation either in Australia, whereas in America it does, even though it's us that are in the Commonwealth. (twats)
Sadly not, the govt are working on not factoring in public sector bonuses, which will reduce the increase to circa 7%.Bump.
Looks like another bumper increase to state pensions from next April (2024).
Earnings have increased by 8.5 % in the last 3 months, so unless inflation increases by more than 8.5% (it's forecast to be around 7% this month) the average increase in earnings will prevail (Triple Lock Guarantee).
As Del Boy would say. -
" Luverly Jublee " !!!
I hope every pensioner fucks these charlatans over, and vote either Labour or Lib-Dem.Sadly not, the govt are working on not factoring in public sector bonuses, which will reduce the increase to circa 7%.
Pensions triple lock should be loosened to fund tax cuts, says Osborne
Ministers are considering a £600 million raid on state pension increases this year as they acknowledged the triple lock would eventually have to be droppedwww.thetimes.co.uk
It's all the first step in nudging towards getting rid of the triple lock. Even Labour won't commit to keeping it.
Really surprised if they don't go with the triple lock. They don't want to piss off the pensioners with an election looming in the not too distant future. If the FOC's don't vote Tory, who will?I hope every pensioner fucks these charlatans over, and vote either Labour or Lib-Dem.
They've already over ruled the triple lock a couple of years ago and now they want to do it again.
Wankers !!!
Those that want to own the left.Really surprised if they don't go with the triple lock. They don't want to piss off the pensioners with an election looming in the not too distant future. If the FOC's don't vote Tory, who will?
