Amazing sounds. Loved seeing Donald Duck Dunn and Steve Cropper in the Blues Brothers film. Must have watched it hundreds of times. Never forgetting Sam and Dave, Carla Thomas,Isaac Hayes, Rufus Thomas, Staple Singers, The Barkays. God you have me thinking now, will be digging out my old records tomorrow.
I had older cousins who were into the music and played it all the time. I was 13 in 1967 when the Stax tour played at the Palace. I was too young to go, such a shame.
