Stephen Hendry: Seven-time world champion says Crucible return would be 'incredible'

Stephen Hendry says it would be "incredible" if he could achieve his goal of playing at the Crucible in a World Championship after announcing his return to professional snooker.

Fair play to him, he was awesome in his day. He is absolutely brutal when on pundit duty so its admirable he's willing to put himself out there.

Yeah, he doesn't hold back as a pundit. When he has talked about his retirement in the past it's always seemed like he fell out of love with the game, but it sounds like he's enjoying playing again so will be interesting to see how he does and amazing if he can get to the latter stages of a competition.

Loved watching him growing up - I myself have completely fallen out of the love with the sport and can't stand O'Sullivan (brilliant at what he does but he's a tw@t).

Will be a great watch if he can show any kind of form.

I think that a 'nothing to lose Hendry' may work out for him to be fair...............
