I appreciate that you say that you are not defending fascism although that stance is not necessarily something that should be applauded as much as be rather obvious.

I also appreciate that it is easy to throw an opinion into the ether behind the anonymity of a keyboard but equally everyone can see your musings and react to them.

Your last four words suggest that you are not taking the subject matter seriously, or indeed the forum code of conduct.

I don't believe that your belief structure is as loose as you would have us believe, at least I hope not.

I have seen your username posting many times over the years and I don't recall any controversial posts so I am either going senile (probably) or there aren't so many.

The point I am trying to make is that the subject matter is a sensitive topic at the moment and an important one.

The more people who cry foul when they see fascism / discrimination the better. If that means I get flak for it then so be it Equally if anyone else has a better world view then so much the better

I urge everyone, including myself to continually re-evaluate.

I see Wing Kingz have issued a statement saying they have referred it to the Police - a threat of " I'll have 500 people round here to shut you down " - a threat to incite a public order offence - isn't a good look for a man with his criminal record.

Slept on it, read the thread again, still can't understand what point you are making other than you are a total wum or a fascist/fascist sympathiser. Let's all hope that you have sobered up enough to realise that YL is a wrongun and if you are on his side that makes you a wrongun also.

You also have failed, (or indeed are unable) to explain how you "know" that I am winding you up.

If you are going to throw veiled insults, at least have the courage / moral fortitude to back them up.
 
I can see why the owner/supervisor refused. Hes a controversial figure no doubt. But from owners perspective, the probability of it causing issues with other diners would be the last thing she would want, and lets face it wherever he goes, he tends to attract that unnecessary agro. Always shit kicking off in most cases. However, I wouldn't have any qualms with serving him, as long as he kept his mouth shut and avoided any conflicts. Doesn't mean i like the guy nor agree with his BS views. But thats another topic.

The only people who complain about free speech are the ones that get upset when fascists and racists get pulled up. We do have limitations on free speech and its specifically for arseholes like SYL. These limitations are laws and they haven't changed in nearly 20 years - so when you say 'we're rapidly losing it' that is pure BS. The laws aren't changing - its the quantum of hard right arseholes getting caught up in it that is changing.

Everyone else manages to say whatever they like without issue.

Listen mate, as someone who has been in several mixed race relationships, do you really think I'm in anyway sympathetic towards him or anyone else like him? I know what it's like being on the end of racial abuse, I've experienced it first hand, have you?
I'm not on his "side", far from it, but it does seem I don't quite hate him enough to satisfy you, I must try harder.
One thing I have learnt is discussion is a good thing, hatred is generally counter productive, the easy option.

As for your comment on drinking, I'm an alcoholic as it happens, but last night I was sober.
Like I said, sorry for any offence caused, sometimes I do like to play devils advocate, and sometimes it backfires spectacularly.

Oh, incidentally, to clarify, no I am not a real doctor. Back in the day the rather ordinary user name BlueBob was already spoken for so I prefixed it with Dr as it was a nickname I had at the time, but just in case take two aspirins and call me in the morning if you need to. :-)
