Sterling’s contract - three year extension confirmed

There’s a fair bit of daylight between Sterling’s and KDB’s current packages.

If he has demanded parity (which appears unsubstantiated), chances are it’s an opening gambit.

People have put forward good reasons why we should keep him and why he should stay.

On that basis, I’d say there’s a good chance of a settlement that gives him a big rise but keeps the pay structure orderly.
