So you think Kompany is on more than KdB?It does at ours,we have the senior players on the most and the younger ones on less,he is in the gabby and sane group
The same bracket i would think, probably not exactly to the penny,i think it was Simon Mullock that explained the contracts a while ago, vinny, kev, yaya, sergio and dinho are our seniors now,not yaya now obsSo you think Kompany is on more than KdB?
Ok then.....
You were doing so well till you went with sunday league player again, gossip is saying what he is demanding, gossip that puts the kid down as being a greedy **** like he was at the dippers which turned out to be nonsense, kev is older so raz is not at his level of contract and won't be demanding it i'm sure
The more he plays for England the less he can ask for. Just as his reputation was being restored along came the World Cup. If he were to get greedy which I can’t see none of the elite would be willing to pay him top top dollar. His worth has reduced after two games of football.

I don't know abt that mate , The longer he runs his contract down he knows he will get top dollar anywhere else, and even City in the end would have to cave in and pay him than risk losing him for fuckall. Personally i think he'll sign a new extension with a decent rise.
Good post, Im not sure he's sometimes sunday league level but maybe A league level :)Of course it matters what he does for England hence why his agent said he'll wait until after the Penalty Cup. But that aside, he doesn't know his value for City because he's nowhere near KDB's level and City have rightly put him right on that. Don't get me wrong, he's a good player but there's a reason we're after another right-winger and that's because he's far too inconsistent. At his best, he's up there with the very best in the world and at his worst, he's worse than Sunday League level. If he was as good as KDB, would Pep have dropped him towards the end of last season? No. If he was at KDB level, would he have been dropped from our biggest game of last season? No. That sad, I hope we keep him but I trust Pep's opinion as to his value much more than Aidy Ward's.

He also scored a difficult goal which was the only one and the winner away against newcastle. No other players' goals won more points for the side than him and he wasn't dropped towards the end of the season like a poster claimed, he only missed 1 of the last 9 league games and in the 8 games he played contributed with 3 goals and 6 assists, the other games he missed towards the end of the season including the cup final were all through injuries but let's not let facts get in the way though. He was also very consistent last season and never went more than 2 games without contributing a goal/assist to the team so I don't get where this 'inconsistent' tag that many have placed on him comes from.
You can think he is inconsistent, a supposed worse than sunday-league player on his worst days or that pep doesn't rate him, but all the evidence will point to someone who is viewed as a key first team player, one the club and manager values and want to keep for the long run and one whom the vast majority of his performances on the pitch have backed that over the past 2 seasons. That doesn't change because reports are out that he wants a pay rise and no conclusions have been met with the club yet or because he had a poor game for england in a tournament where I can count on one hand the amount of top players who have actually shown up. I'm certain the deal will get done soon but if it doesn't then good luck to him whatever he decides, the club will move on to many great things in the future with or without him
Pep dropped him (rightly so imo) towards the end of Pep’s first season here when he decided to play 4-5-1 hence why he started the FA Cup semi-final without him. He also dropped him for the Champions League game at Anfield this season.
He's finished in the top 3 in the fans player of the season in each of the last two seasons so I'd suggest it's in your eyes as well. KDB dropped off by a mile towards the end of last season, Raz was as good as or better than anyone else in the squad over the season as a whole. Silva and Aguero missed too many matches to be considered vital, Sané inconsistent, Dinho cost us badly in the CL, Bernardo couldn't nail down a starting spot, Jesus went through a couple of rubbish patches. Sterling did it from matchday 1 to matchday 38.Sterling is not close to the level of KDB / silva / Kun in my eyes, he wouldn't be even in the top 5 performers for last season great achievement.
Unlike Coman at Bayern, Sterling has excelled elsewhere. Coman never had much of a shot under Ancelotti either.Like Coman at Bayern I suspect once Pep leaves Sterling's performances will drop off a cliff.
He missed the last 2 games of the league in a season with nothing left to play for and even though his form admitedely went down towards the end of that season, if that is what constitutes him being 'dropped' then fine. As for this season, it was clear he was only dropped in the first leg against liverpool due to the anfield factor which pep could tell affected his game. He still started him as the main striker in the second leg at home. If the one game he missed against liverpool at a ground he had previously struggled at is the reason you're giving that pep didn't see him as important against countless other big games last season where he started then its a poor one.
