Sterling Penalty - Wenger will face no charge for his comments.

In Wenger's next press conference, a journo should ask him

"With regards to Raheem Sterling and your criticism of him being a notorious diver and so a "cheat", you made attempts to bring him to Arsenal in September, so does this mean you won't be showing an interest again?"

The penalty we got was absolutely nailed on, the one we should have got when Sterling was pushed hard in the back when in on goal was even more nailed on, Wenger needs to get a grip of his moaning arse, his side were outclassed in every department, he needs to apologise to Sterling pronto... !

penalty = absolutely
Silva = should have been offside.

but then that's just me

No use getting an apology from a grumpy, bitter old man who is well past his use by date.

Any apology would be hollow and he will say likewise again in similar circumstances unless someone higher up the ladder at the club bows to media pressure and insists he does it.

The FA should take action against him for criticising the referees directly with the comment that the standard is getting worse by the season.

He should say the sooner video replay comes in the game to assist officialdom the better as should every manager and leave it at that.

People now either feel embarrassed or sorry for Wenger as he comes to grips that the game has passed him by ( it did years ago ).

I wouldn't give Wenger any more attention that he deserves on his after match comments , he is not much better than Moaner Mou on that score with the exception he annoys fewer supporters than Mou does even more so the supporters of the club he manages.

The reality is the vast majority of Arsenal supporters want him and the owners gone and eventually they get their wish

At normal speed David looked a mile offside but then in slow motion it was only a leg that was stretched beyond the last Arsenal defender. Even a case for saying he was level!
We were staggered at the game as he looked miles offside but I've watched the clip frame by frame and there's an argument that the ball had already left Fernandinho's foot at the point where his leg put him offside. When Dinho actually played the ball he was probably level. People saying it was "clearly offside" are completely wrong.

But even if you discount that, it's an incredibly hard spot for the assistant when it's so close and the defending player (Xhaka) is moving away from goal while Silva is moving towards it when the ball is played. Certainly a lot harder than the Kyle Walker offside at Spurs a couple of season's ago.

Ive been a bit iffy on the pen. It was one no two ways abt it. But I'd of still been pissed off had it had been against us.

The offside goal is not worth arguing abt. 5 yard, one yard, or a stuck out leg. It was offside. And at that point in the game it was a welcome decision. Even if it was wrong.
