you really could set your watch by this transfer forum. We go in for him and he isnt good enough for us, his stats are awful, i am entirely underwhelmed by this signing, united are 'reportedly' interested in him and all of a sudden people would be devastated if we miss out on his, we really do need to stop fucking about, he could be the difference.

Either that or this is a giant wind up and ive fallen for it big time.

Don't worry, I won't be devastated. I'll just be pissed he went to Manchester United.
 
I have a good feeling about this deal and I reckon we will sign him soon. There are a number of reasons why I reckon he will be a City player this season:

We have a good relationship with Fiorentina

He will have spoken to the likes of Nasty, Pizzaro and Savic about us. Savic has already told him to join us.

We have been tracking him for over a year showing that we really value him as a player.

Having lost out on Isco and seeing how good RVP and Hazard have been at United and Chelsea there is no way Txiki will let him go United without at least offering what they can offer.

The only way I can see him joining United is if he personally favours them over us and so far I haven't seen heard anything from him to suggest that.
 
Honestly if anyone genuinely thinks he'll end up at the Rags you can get 12/1 with Skybet. Twelve to one! Chuck twenty quid on it and you've got one hell of a night out to forget about it in return.

PSG were something like 40-1 a day before the news came out he was going there.

I am not ruling the scum out yet.

I'm not saying it makes him any less likely to go there, just that if you truly believe it will happen, as some on here do, there's a killing to be made!

sky Italy are the best sky team around and if these rumours about the rags from Italy are true they would have found out before the shitty sources.and if sky Italy did know this theyd probably move united from 5th favourites to sign him at 12/1 and change our odds from 1/4
