come on dale! beating qpr 1-0 at loftus rd!

good night for lower northwest clubs, Bury just scored to go 2-1 up against leicester!

No Johnson again....He must be injured again. Played 70 mins 2 weeks ago but nothing since

These games are shocks in name only, most of the top division teams put out younger inexperienced teams than they would on a Saturday in the Premier League, with a lot of those playing rarely going on to have a career in their first team-can't see much of Norwichs team that is playing tonight having much of a future there!

Given the poor start Rochdale have had, they would do well to concentrate on the league anyway.

i know what your saying, but sometimes a good cup run can be the catalyst to kick start a good league campaign! confidence breeds confidence.

Always going to be hard, Rochdale over achieved last year because they were on a high and it carried through. They are a league two club.

David Ball scored on his debut for them today, but looks like they were well beaten in the end.
Hope Steve Eyre can turn it round for them, a few of our old academy lads are there such as Ashley Grimes, Andrew Tutte and I always hope that lads we release go on to make a good living from the game. Didn't Ahmed Benali go on loan this week?
They probably need some more experienced heads to steady the ship.

yes longsight benali did join the eyres revolution this week! i thought they d get young bunn myself!

their problem seems to be defence, really hope he can pull it round! top lad. A win and a good run would have them surging up the table for sure!
