Still angry

On the subject of mentality, anyone worried about a bit of piss taking by some rag hasbeens needs to find their backbone. Better still, get behind the team week in and week out so the rags have one less hook for their desperate whingeing?

There seems to be a growing number of threads on this forum for the self-entitled, smacked arse "super blues". Maybe it started with posters who claimed they were superior fans for not going to Champs League games - or maybe it has always been here with people slagging off one manager off after another!

I think the point was that it wasn't actually piss taking on that occasion, but fair comment, which is far worse.

Wow, we can even not try and only get beaten 1-0 over two legs by the 10 times winners of the champs league.
It's nothing to do with those ties in isolation, though our inability or unwillingness to turn up the wick when we needed a goal is certainly cause for concern.

It's the rest of this shitty season: Failing to get maximum points from Villa, Newcastle and Norwich just as last season when we failed against relegated Burnley and Hull. Failing to win back to back PL games from October to April, failing to beat anybody in the top eight (Southampton weren't in it when we beat them). Showing no desire to get a third at Southampton when there was plenty of time remaining. Showing no desire to equalise in the derby as time was running out.

Fighting for 4th place would be welcomed by supporters of many teams; but we were expected to finish in the top three.
I await the game with limited enthusiasm. I await Swansea with sightly more knowing a three month break will follow.

Totally agree, but if you were lucky enough to be wearing the shirt that night, would you not think sod this let have a go and show the silly old fool how to play the game? and if you did that, you are showing the watching Pep that you have the required fight and passion.
Allegedly that's what the Liverpool team did in instanbul due to the fact Benitez didn't know what to do or say.

I think they had basically lost all idea. They needed help. They didn't get any & haven't had any for years. It's all on them, every week, to make the best of his stupid fucking formations, motivate themselves when things go wrong, the whole lot.

Fat Sam would have thrown Managala or Otamendi or both up front, had Dinho etc leathering the ball in & Aguero etc feeding off it. We might have lost 0-2. But it's quile likely we would have created one chance. It goes in, we're in the final.

Except if Pell did actually do that, then when it went in, he would switch us back to 442 with 2 up front & Real would carch us on the break & score again. Because that's what he does.

Its all ifs buts and maybe now. Next game.

Interesting, not heard that before. I would put Benitez in the same category as Pellegringi, strictly average and very over rated.

Dont disagree but I think it says a lot more about our declining squad over this period

Spot on Tim.

Well can you translate it ?

Am I a bigger blue if I slag off each manager as it's traditional behaviour, or an I supposed to buck the trend & somehow 'support the team' on an internet forum ? I mean, do they come on here ? Or am I supposed to stop going to Champs League games?

How do I become as big a blue as you two ?

Or go on twitter perhaps so I can go ' woo woo nice effort Alex ' & he might see it after the game, if he has the time ?
