I actually feel a bit of sadness really. Didn't think I would. Just seeing how some of my mates have reacted is quite sad. Don't see how someone can get enjoyment out of it. You can't really say that it's 'revenge' or 'retribution' or anything, because I'm sure you said the same thing when they hit the Conference Premier.

They really believe that???Surely the Stockport diehards would have sussed them pretty quickly,if they were the sort of City fans that would do something like this? I would have thought judging by the reaction on here they would have been in the Kiddermister end mocking them if anything.

I feel some sadness but these days we are light years away from Stokport and have been for years and are unlikely to ever play them again except in a friendly or the FA cup.We encountered a lot of our local rivals on our trips down and up but Stockport were probably the most obnoxious to OUR plight,hence the hatred/apathy to THEIR plight now.

In truth while we were City fans with a soft spot for Stockport,they were probably Stockport fans with a soft spot for the rags and their behaviour and attitudes recently seem to confirm that.
 
Sad day for them, regardless of whether they took the piss a bit when they were at their highest point and we were at our lowest, their club has been fucked over and over this last decade by former and the current owners and board members.

Why were all the games 5.15pm? I know they all have to kick off at the same time and that they couldn't kick off at 3pm due to TV laws but why not 12:45pm? An evening kick off just gives people more time on the booze.

Karma for their idiots, who turned many City fans away from having Stockport as their second team, to be playing a league below Hyde United next year.
