Student union around the corner from the train station is the main place for away fans and the place the police will send you to if you get the train down.

Been to Stoke twice .
Always had a pint in the Harvester .
Not many pubs near the ground .
It's mostly car dealerships .
And plenty of roundabouts .

If you're on the rattler the police direct you to the student union bar or the Terrace pub a couple of hundred yards further on. Both are decent enough and the Terrace has a 9AM licence to serve alcohol tomorrow. Then it's a case of piling onto double decker buses for an escort to the ground just like the good old days!

Definitely mate. Got it off an impeccable source - a mate whose job involves looking after a number of pubs in and around Stoke and the Terrace is one of them. If I'm wrong you can shoot me - not before I've shot him first!
