We all know the city ecademy that was recently launched? <a class="postlink" href="http://ecademy.mcfc.co.uk/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://ecademy.mcfc.co.uk/</a>

It seems clubs are starting to follow lead. Stoke have just launched their very own ecademy - http://www.stokecityfc.com/stokecityfcecademy

SUBJECT: Criteria for Stoke City FC youth recruitment

Dear boyos, here is the criteria for what we want when you are scouting youngsters at the weekend.

1. Must be the biggest on their team
2. How far can they kick it
3. If they aren't good with their feet see how long they can throw it
4. If they qualify for all of the above then see if they are death aswell as it will save us compensation money in the future after playing infront of "The Loudest Fans in the World TM"

Yours,
The honest, sleeves rolled up passionaite kinda guy Tony

Schedule:-
Play to your strengths
Play with passion
Never give up
Give everything for the shirt that you are wearing

(Except against the rags, when you are expected to stand off, don't tackle and generally surrender, roll over and assume the position for an arse raping. The blue team is our annual derby and cup final, and don't you ever forget it. We hate them, hate them, hate them.
They refuse to accept that football only started to exist three years ago or that our fans are the bestest and noisiest and most loyal (now that they turn up) in the world.

What is yours?
Edited for accuracy

Schedule:-
1; Must be able to play as part of a team. Individual talent is fine, but must be able to fit in.
2; If the player has the abillity to put in a long throw which is as effective as a corner kick & puts the opposition under pressure in their own box then we will use that talent. It would be foolish not to.
3; The player MUST LOVE PLAYING FOR OUR CLUB & not just be here for the money.
4; The player must give 100% for 90 minutes + any stoppage time.
5; Mavericks who can pull off perfectly placed back-heels that destroy expensive clubs defences are welcome.

Face it Citeh fans, we absolutely dominated the first half, & it wasn't all 'long ball', & we were unlucky to go in at half-time without at least 2 goals to our credit.
The second half was yours, but would it have been if injuries didn't force us to make substitutions ?
Your goal was excellent. Wonderful turn & strike.
Our goal came from good play + a bit of flair, not a long ball or throw in or set piece.
Despite what the media say about Stoke, it was an entertaining match & not a dirty match, which could have gone either way right until the end. A bit of a nail-biter.
In all, I think a draw was a fair result.

Typical, little englander, you are the reason why this country has won fuck all and you watch a pathetic side every week because you would rather see players give you 100% and get stuck in than see football played the way it should!
